We offer training in a wide range of supported software, as well as educating staff to fully utilise computer systems for productivity and efficiency.
This can take the form of one-on-one, step-by-step instruction; or group seminars.
In addition, we have a special class in a key area that affects all business:
IT Security Best Practices
(Group Seminar, Duration: 1 hour)
Your data may be backed up, you may have effective antivirus software and other security in place. But what happens when someone calls your office pretending to be from a respectable company, needing access to your data or systems? What happens when your office manager gets an email that looks to be from a supplier or client but actually contains a payload of viruses?
According to a report from Microsoft, "social engineering" (attacks that manipulate the computer user, rather than bypass computer security) are the most common vulnerability in computer systems. Another report from Check Point Software Technology shows that almost 50% of enterprises surveyed were victims of social engineering attacks, costing between $25,000 and over $100,000 per incident!
It doesn't take a lot of time, expensive software or complex hardware to secure your business from this threat. It just takes good policy and professional staff training. We present this seminar in your office and in just one hour provide the training required to ensure your staff do not fall for all the common social engineering schemes. This includes a simple guide for future reference and use in your company's computer manual.
Time: Can be scheduled any time, 9am to 8pm 7 days. (Please allow at least one week's notice.)
Cost: Group Seminars - $50 per hour, ex. GST per attendee, minimum fee $400 ex. GST
One-one-One: $120 per hour ex GST.
We can conduct training at a separate venue, please let us know if this is preferred.
